Jeddah: The Saudi Hajj Umrah Department Has Announced That The Bans On Umrah Madinah Visit Will Continue. At The Same Time The Decisions Will Be Reviewed Based On The Method Of The Coronavirus Spread And The Recommendations Of The Special Committee.
The Visit Of Umrah And Madinah Was Stopped As Part Of A Series Of Initiatives Taken By Saudi Arabia To Prevent The Spread Of Coronavirus.
First, It Banned Access To International Pilgrims, Then Restricted Access To Gcc Countries, And Finally To All.
The Jumu'ah And Jama'at Prayers Are Being Carried Out Despite The Prohibition. Access Is Only For Haram Department Employees And Haram Maintenance Workers.
Officials Said The Curfew In Makkah Will Be Partially Offset By The Next Two Sundays, But The Situation In The Mosque Will Remain The Same.
