Riyadh: Five Pakistanis have been arrested in a case of sending fake SMSes to customers in the name of banks. Riyadh provincial police spokesman Major Khalid al-Qirdis said the suspects were in their 30s and 40s. They tried to hack the bank account by asking for personal information to update and announcing fake gifts. Three lakh riyals and 13 mobile phones used to send fake messages were seized from the gang. Major al-Qirdis said the detainees had been handed over to the public prosecution.
