Jeddah: Visiting visas for dependents or family members can be renewed after the expiration of the iqama period for foreigners, Saudi Jawazat said.
Javasat was responding to a question on whether a person whose Iqama period has expired can renew the visiting visas of his dependents.
Javasat also reminded that foreigners who leave the country on RE ENTRY visa and do not return will have to wait for three years to return to Saudi Arabia on the new visa.
At the same time, the 3-year ban does not apply to new spouses returning to the old sponsor and family members returning to the new visa.
Javasat said those arriving in Saudi Arabia with new work visas should take the PCR test taken within 72 hours of entering Saudi Arabia.
