Jeddah: The Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Welfare has warned that private companies will
face action if they do not provide information on workers' accommodation.
By January next year, all information about the workers' accommodation must be linked to the EJAR network.
Workers' work permits will not be renewed unless any institution provides information about the accommodation of workers under them.
If the work permit of the worker is not renewed, naturally it will become a situation where the iqama cannot be renewed.
Authorities have set up a special committee to monitor the accommodation and health precautions of workers in the private sector.
