Riyadh - The Communications And Information Technology Commission (Citc) Has Begun Work To Ensure 60,000 Free Wi-fi In Public Places In Saudi Arabia.
Free Wi-Fi hotspots are available at centers including hospitals, malls, public parks and two special harems.
In Saudi cities, various mobile service providers are already offering free internet service for up to two hours a day at selected centers.
CITC will oversee the provision of free Wi-Fi service by telecom providers at more centers.
