IQAMA LEVI CAN BE PAID FOR ONLY THREE MONTHS OR SIX MONTHS

 In Saudi Arabia, employees' iqama, levy and work permits can be renewed for only three months. The decision will benefit those who find it difficult to pay the levy and other fees together for a year. At present it costs an employee more than ten thousand riyals, including employee levy, insurance and related fees. If those in small businesses cannot afford it, they can temporarily pay the levy in installments of three months each. All you have to do is pay the iqama related fees. The decision will also benefit companies that want to lay off employees. Companies can renew iqama for only three or six months instead of paying the fee together for one year. The decision does not apply to domestic workers or house drivers. The decision was taken by the Saudi cabinet meeting.
