WhatsApp has recently changed the privacy policy of its users. In this case, the Saudi Ministry of Finance has warned against sharing information through WhatsApp. The Ministry of Finance has asked users not to share any information directly or indirectly related to the Ministry through WhatsApp. The ministry added that there are many other applications that maintain more privacy for personal use.
WhatsApp recently announced that it will share information with WhatsApp's parent company, Facebook, and that the WhatsApp service will no longer be available to unlicensed users. Accordingly, the IP address and location of the mobile using WhatsApp will be specified. In addition, WhatsApp will be able to transfer phone numbers, account images, and every activity done through WhatsApp to Facebook. As a result, many users are switching from WhatsApp to other applications such as Signal.
