Saudi Arabia bans people from 20 countries, including India and the UAE

Entrants from India, Argentina, UAE, Germany, USA, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Pakistan, Brazil, Portugal, UK, Turkey, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, France, Lebanon, Egypt and Japan are also eligible to enter Saudi Arabia. Prohibited.

The ban does not apply to Saudi nationals, diplomats, health workers and their families from these countries. The ban also applies to people from other countries who have passed through these countries during the fourteen days prior to entering Saudi Arabia.


The entry of Saudi nationals, diplomats, health workers and their families from these countries into Saudi Arabia is subject to precautionary measures as determined by the Ministry of Health.

The home ministry said the new decision would take effect tomorrow night at 9 p.m.
