grace period from yesterday to avoid penalties for benami business offenders

The Ministry of Commerce has announced a six-month grace period from yesterday to avoid penalties for benami business offenders. As part of the revised anti-benami business program, the period for which benami firms are allowed to correct their status expires on August 23. Both nationals and foreigners applying for this benefit through the Ministry of Commerce's website can avoid further penalties. The ministry has also given the opportunity to the owners of establishments who have not paid their income tax properly to avoid legal action within this time frame.
