The Saudi Ministry of Health has announced that only those who have received the Kovid vaccine will be allowed to perform this year's Hajj. This year, pilgrims from foreign countries will also be allowed to perform Hajj. Special arrangements are being made for the Hajj to take place in the Kovid situation.
This time too, the Hajj will be held amidst fears of Kovid. Last year, only about 1,000 people inside Saudi Arabia were allowed to perform the Hajj. . But this year, arrangements and discussions are underway for the participation of pilgrims from foreign countries in the Hajj. At the same time, only those who have been vaccinated by the Kovid will be allowed to perform this Hajj. The Saudi media quoted the Saudi Ministry of Health as saying. Special medical warm-ups will be held in Makkah and Madinah in view of the Kovid situation. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah is working closely with the Ministry of Health to provide the necessary medical facilities as the service is required from the time of arrival of the pilgrims to the time of return.
Pilgrims will be taken to the holy places only after completing the medical examination of the health workers and staff who come to render the required services. The distribution of the vaccine in Saudi Arabia is expected to be completed in large numbers ahead of the Hajj in July.
