A CRIMINAL COURT HAS SENTENCED A GROUP OF FIVE FOREIGNERS AND A LOCAL TO 64 YEARS IN PRISON FOR ROBBING AN ATM MACHINE IN RIYADH
The verdict says the accused foreigners will be deported after serving their sentences and banned from living in Saudi Arabia for life. There are 5 other people in the group. They are abroad.
The public prosecution said the suspects robbed an ATM in the Al Jazeera area on February 20 this year.
Apart from ATM robbery, the court also found them guilty of money laundering. 7 lakh riyals has been recovered from them.
The court also ordered a refund of 14 lakh riyals worth of cash stolen from the ATM. The public prosecution has decided to seek the help of Interpol to extradite five other non-Saudi suspects to Saudi Arabia.
