Riyadh - The Javasat Directorate has stated that even if the iqama period of a foreign worker expires, there will be no impediment to renewal of visitor visas of relatives. Javasat said this in response to an inquiry by one of the foreigners. Javasat clarified that the expiration of the iqama period of those who have recruited relatives on a visit visa does not preclude the extension of the visa of those on a visitor visa. "Under the current circumstances, foreigners will not be barred from entering the country on new work visas," he said. In response to a query, Javasat said foreigners can enter the country with a PCR negative test report approved on a valid visa. When entering Saudi Arabia, foreigners have a PC. The condition is that the R-negative test report should not be more than 72 hours old. The PCR test report received within 72 hours of arrival in Saudi Arabia must be produced. Corona test result should be negative.
Javasat also said that the entry ban for those who do not return within the visa period after leaving the country on a re-entry visa does not apply to dependents. The visa of dependents leaving Saudi Arabia on re-entry visa expired on the 30th of last month. Javasat said this in response to a query from one of the foreigners as to whether the requirement of three years to bring them back to Saudi Arabia on a new visa was applicable. Javasat said the entry ban does not apply to dependents who do not return within the visa period after leaving the country on re-entry.
