12 Reasons: The Tax Authority urges the public to file complaints

The Zakat and Tax Authority has asked consumers to file complaints against businesses and individuals in twelve cases. In cases where the tax number is not recorded on the invoices, private educational institutions levy value added tax on Saudi citizens, private healthcare institutions levy VAT on natives, individuals and institutions that are not registered under the value added system are required to pay Zakat and tax information.

Institutions and individuals registered under the Value Added System do not pay tax, tax item does not specify the item and nature of the product and service in the invoice, tax date does not indicate the address of the institution on the invoice, tax is levied on non-taxable products on tax invoices, tax returns, etc. The Zakat and Tax Authority has asked consumers to file complaints even in cases where the tax is levied on less expensive housing.
