Answer: Exit re-entry is not available unless the passport is valid for at least 90 days. That is the law of Jawasat. Jawasat's system will reject re-entry if the passport is not valid for at least three months. If you need to go home urgently, the only option is to approach the embassy of your country and take the necessary steps to get an extension of the period, or to renew the passport as an emergency.

If the validity of the passport is extended or renewed, the new information in the passport should be added to the Jawasat system. This is possible through sponsor Abshir. After that you will get exit re-entry.

The Ministry stated that Umrah service companies and organizations should provide the best services to the pilgrims and improve the service quality.

Umrah pilgrims can complete the procedures digitally in their respective countries to reach Saudi Arabia. For this, the Ministry of Haj-Umrah has launched a new digital platform called 'Nusuk'.

Umrah service companies are fully responsible for issuing Umrah permits and permits for performing Namaz at Madinah Masjid Dunna Bavi Rawda Sharif to the Umrah pilgrims under them and for bringing the pilgrims to the Holy Haram at the time specified in the permits.

The sponsor can cancel the exit through his Abshir or Mukeem account within 60 days. Then no penalty is payable. But iqama must have validity. If the period of Iqama has expired, Iqama should be renewed first. 

The final exit can be canceled only after that. If the iqama is overdue, the penalty for the expiry is 500 riyals first and if it is canceled after the date of final exit, the penalty is 1000 riyals. If it is an expired Iqama, it can be renewed and transferred to a new sponsor after canceling the final exit.
