Private sector Secretary, Translation, Stockkeeper and Data Entry jobs are restricted to Saudi citizens. Saudiization in these areas is affecting the employment of many foreigners, including Malayalees.
The announcement was made by Saudi Minister of Human Resource Development Ahmed al-Rajhi yesterday. Only Saudi nationals can now work in the region.
It is estimated that this will create 20,000 jobs in the private sector for Saudi nationals alone.
The basic salary for a translation and Stockkeeper job is 5,000 riyals. The Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has also released a guide to law enforcement information and details. It also provides assistance, packages and other incentives to private companies operating in the sector to employ Saudi nationals.
