Saudis ready to Nationalized dental Health Jobs.
Saudi Arabia plans to implement 55 percent Nationalization in the Saudi dental health sector. The first phase of the project, which will be implemented in two installments, will come into effect in March next year. The new decision will apply to institutions that employ three or more dentists.
The announcement was made by Ahmed Suleiman Al Rajhi, Minister of Labor and Social Development, Engineer. The decision is to implement 55 per cent Nationalization in the dental health sector in two phases. The first phase of 25 percent Nationalization will be implemented from March 26 next year in institutions employing three or more dentists. The second phase will begin on March 14, 2021. From that point on, the next 30 percent of Nationalization will take place.
The Ministry of Health will ensure that hospitals and other health centers are implementing the new decision. Ministry spokesman Khalid al-Khalil said the government would take strong action against those institutions that fail to do so. The new decision is intended to reduce the unemployment rate of indigenous dentists. The Saudi health minister had earlier announced that various ministries had reached an agreement to ban the recruitment of dentists from abroad.
