Dubai: The UAE's Hope Probe spacecraft has reached orbit around Mars.

Launched from a space center in Japan on July 21, 2020, the Mars spacecraft has traveled 49.4 million kilometers and reached the orbit of Mars.

Sheikh Mohammed, the ruler of Dubai, announced the victory of the mission with a picture of the Arabs on Mars.

This is the first time a country from the Arab world has carried out a Mars mission.

The Mars mission was celebrated extravagantly throughout the country. The moment it entered orbit, the crown of the Exo platform turned red in the color of Mars. The cost of the UAE's Mars mission is 73.5 crore dirhams. This is the result of the 55 lakh hours of work of more than 450 employees. The Hope Probe was launched on July 21, 2020 at 1.58am local time. All the major places in the country are abuzz with festivities. Abu Dhabi Presidential Palace also attended the celebration. The engineers at the Space Center are eagerly awaiting each signal from the Hope Probe.
