Saudi travelers using domestic airports will be charged a user fee from January 1 to 10. Users' fees will be applicable to all passengers on domestic flights in Saudi. Users' fees do not apply to weaned infants, flight service pilots, aircraft engineers, technicians or transit visas without leaving the plane.
The Saudi Civil Aviation Authority has already decided to charge 10 Real Users fee from domestic passengers for using the airport's auxiliary facilities. The goal is to raise funds to improve the infrastructure at the airport. User fees are only charged from domestic travelers.
