Employees whose Exit/Re-entry Visas are being renewed should be aware that some workers have been taking leave without informing the company during the visa cancellation process. This has become a matter of concern.
The visa cancellation process requires the employee's physical presence. Therefore, employees should not take leave during this period. If an employee takes leave without informing the company while the visa cancellation process is ongoing, disciplinary action may be taken.
Employees whose Exit/Re-entry Visas have expired must submit their passports immediately. Passports should be submitted within 90 days of the visa expiry date. Failure to do so may result in legal complications.
All employees must follow the rules and procedures related to the Exit/Re-entry Visa process and cooperate fully with the company to ensure its smooth completion.
If an employee loses an Exit/Re-entry Visa after it has been issued, a fine will be imposed. The penalties are as follows:
- First loss of Exit/Re-entry Visa: SAR 200
- Second loss: SAR 100
- Repeated losses may result in fines of up to SAR 500
Therefore, all employees are advised to handle their Exit/Re-entry Visas carefully and responsibly.
