The Ministry Of Commerce Conducted Field Inspections In 9677 Bakkalas And Mini Markets Over Four Days To Ensure That E-payment Systems Were Made Available.
In The Four Days Since The E-payment System Was Made Compulsory, 80% Of Bakkalas And Mini-markets Inspected By Commerce Ministry Teams Have Installed Point-of-sale Equipment. About 20 Percent Of Firms That Did Not Employ Point Of Sale Equipment Were Immediately Fined. A Total Of 1895 Firms Were Fined In Four Days.
The Ministry Of Commerce, The Ministry Of Municipal And Rural Affairs And The Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority Have Made It Mandatory For E-payment Systems In Bakkalas And Mini-markets. The Anti-benami National Program Has Already Decided To Make E-payment Systems Compulsory In Bakkalas And Mini-markets From 10 This Month.
