Curfew in Saudi extended till May 22; Full-time curfew from May 23rd
The existing curfew in Saudi Arabia will continue until the end of Ramadan. The curfew, which was announced for 17 days last month, was extended to May 22, when the Radman 30 was completed. The current concessions, which will be released from 9 am to 5 pm, will continue until May 22. But the 24-hour curfew will continue in Makkah and currently isolated areas. But there will be a full-time curfew from May 23 to May 27. The Home Ministry will later decide whether to extend it.
Today, the Baish region of Jasan was completely isolated for 24 hours for an indefinite period. There will be no entry into this area except those who have been granted concessions with passes. People can shop between 9am and 5pm to buy goods from nearby shops. There is only one person in the vehicle. Failure to leave the residential district will result in a fine. Shops that provide essential services can be open.
