Saudi Arabia’s Ministry Of Health On Tuesday Shared Seven Habits To Avoid To Prevent Further Spread Of The Coronavirus.

The Coronavirus Continues To Spread In The Kingdom, Where The Total Number Of Cases Rose Above 100,000 On Sunday. Health Authorities Have Urged Citizens And Residents To Play Their Part In Preventing Further Spread By Practicing Social Distancing And Following Guidelines.

Here Is The Latest Advice From The Ministry, Including Seven Habits To Avoid For People In The Kingdom.

1) Do Not Leave Home Without A Face Mask And Ensure Face Masks Are Clean. Anyone Who Does Not Wear A Face Mask In Public Will Be Fined 1,000 Saudi Riyals ($266), The Ministry Of Interior Said On Saturday.

2) Avoid Kissing The Hands Of Parents Or Elders, A Common Gesture Used To Show Respect And Gratitude To Older People In The Arab World, As It Could Put Their Health At Risk.

3) Muslims Should Maintain Social Distancing Measures And Avoid Standing Too Close To One Another During Prayers. Saudi Arabia Reopened Mosques Across The Country On May 31 After All Prayers Were Halted For More Than Two Months.

4) Use Card Or Electronic Payment Methods To Avoid Spreading The Covid-19 Virus Via Cash, Which Circulates Widely.

5) Avoid Shaking Hands In The Workplace Or Other Public Places.

6) Avoid Touching Objects While Shopping Unless Buying The Product.

7) Avoid Crowding In Stores And Other Closed Spaces To Prevent The Virus From Spreading Through Close Contact.

Saudi Arabia Reported 74,524 Confirmed Cases Of The Deadly Coronavirus On Monday After 3,369 New Infections Were Detected. The New Cases Were The Highest Reported Daily Increase In The Kingdom So Far.
