Foreigners' dependent levy; Explanation of the Saudi Jawazat .

Riyadh - Saudi Jawazat explained that no monthly concession or levy on foreigners' dependence on Saudi Arabia has been sanctioned and that the levy has to be paid in full.

Due to the travel restrictions imposed by the Kovid background, many have been worried that the two-year Iqamah period will be extended by six months.

According to King Salman King's orders, the Iqama has been extended for a period of three months and then three months.

Accordingly, it is rumored that the family members' levy will be waived for six months and the family levy for the remaining six months is sufficient.

Responding to a Saudi Jawazat query, he said that this is a misconception and that Iqama will not renew the payment of the entire dependent fee for 12 months.

Foreign nationals working in Saudi private companies must pay a monthly fee to their family members. When Iqama renews, a one-year dependent levy is charged.
