Kovid disease is under control in Saudi Arabia

In Saudi Arabia, morbidity and mortality rates have declined under the control of Kovid

Riyadh: Kovid disease is under control in Saudi Arabia. The Ministry of Health has said that the number of new cases has been declining for a week and the death rate has also come down. However, experts said that the condition was being monitored daily and it was not possible to say whether there would be a second outbreak.

The reduction in the incidence of the disease is due to the willingness of the public to comply with the regulations implemented by the Ministry of Health to control the spread of Kovid. The suggestion to wear a mask, maintain social distance and use a sanitizer is strictly followed by almost everyone. Violators face a fine of 1,000 riyals and foreigners are fined and deported.

Businesses and offices still do not allow entry to the masked. It also encourages the use of sanitizers.

As the number of patients decreased, so did the number of people in hospitals and clinics. Many hospitals that used to be overcrowded and unable to accept new arrivals are now accepting patients with Kovid symptoms. Although the influx of patients has been alleviated on a large scale, the influx of patients has not completely stopped. Of the hospitals that previously treated 70 people, now less than 40 are being treated. Riyadh, which had the highest number of patients, reported 178 cases yesterday. In other cities it is even lower.

It is a relief to have a lower mortality rate. A spokesman for the health ministry told a news conference yesterday that the number of people in critical condition and deaths was low. By the time the disease reached its peak a month ago, hospitals and mortuaries in Riyadh were operating at full capacity. Authorities at the time ordered that those killed by the Kovid be buried within 48 hours.

Free treatment for both natives, foreigners, and lawbreakers also helped to prevent the spread of the disease. The incidence was 80 per cent yesterday. The Ministry of Health has asked those with symptoms to seek treatment at the nearest Tathman clinics.
