Jeddah: More than 130 companies have been shut down in the past 72 hours after being found to be failing to comply with Covid protocols. Sub-Municipality Undersecretary Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Zahrani said several establishments, including 73 workshops, were involved in the closure.
Al-Zahrani added that the sub-municipalities were tasked with ensuring compliance with the defense protocols issued by the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs, adding that surveillance was being carried out in all commercial areas and strong action would be taken against the culprits.
