Plan to start preparations for Umrah season



Mecca: The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has said it is considering preparations for the next Umrah season in the wake of the successful completion of this year's Hajj season. 

The Hajj was organized in accordance with the health protocols laid down by the Ministry of Health. Undersecretary of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Hashimi, said that the lessons learned from this year's extraordinary Hajj experience will determine the steps to be taken to start the necessary preparations for the next Umrah season. Hussein al-Sharif said. 

According to a health protocol approved by the Ministry of Health, pilgrims who complete the Hajj must stay in their homes for seven days on quarantine and not leave their homes during these days. The ministry will ensure that the pilgrims abide by it. Hussein al-Sharif said.
