Jeddah: The Jeddah Municipality has closed 28 barber shops on the day of the Feast of Sacrifice, confirming that Kovid violated the norms. Baladiya Division Undersecretary NG said that the action was taken after the violation of the law was observed even after the permission was given to open the Kovid restrictions. Muhammad ibn Ibrahim al-Zahrani reported.
The municipality had tightened surveillance on Eid al-Fitr day across Jeddah to prevent the spread of Kovid 19. It was during these inspections that barber shops were found to have breached the standards. Al-Zahrani called on the people to call the 940 toll-free number for violations of the law, as public health is paramount.
