Riyadh: Saudi Arabia has demanded that those traveling to India via Saudi Airlines comply with the Kovid standards announced by the Indian government. Saudi Arabian Airlines has published on its website the code of conduct for travelers to 30 countries, including India. Kovid standards from five countries, including India and Pakistan, were posted on the website yesterday.
Saudi Airlines operates to all countries, including India, both chartered and non-chartered, as published on the website. The airline has added the conditions for passengers to these countries to pay attention to, in English and Arabic, below the name of each country. However, there has been widespread publicity on social media that international flights to Saudi Arabia will be launched soon. But Saudi officials have not yet revealed the full launch of the international flight. Officials have repeatedly said that the service will be officially announced and that the news will have to be received from real sources.
Those going to India should fill up the Self Declaration Form 72 hours before departure. The quarantine should last for 14 days, including seven days for institutional quarantine and seven days for home quarantine. 14 days home quarantine is enough for patients and others. Those going for business purposes need no quarantine if they take the RT-PCR test 96 hours before the trip. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. Do not use domestic services before the end of the quarantine. However, Saudi Arabian Airlines states on its website that those traveling to Chennai Airport must take care of the RT-PCR test certificate issued within 96 hours and stay in the home quarantine for 14 days.
