Riyadh - The Riyadh Ministry of Manpower and Social Development has received more than 7,000 employment cases in two months before the Reconciliation Labor Dispute Resolution Division. The Reconciliation Labor Dispute Resolution Division sought to find amicable solutions to these cases online. Cases that could not be resolved were referred to the Labor Court for trial.
From the first sitting to the settlement of labor cases through conciliation, 21 days are allowed to settle disputes amicably. The condition is that cases which have not already been resolved amicably should be referred to the Labor Courts for trial.
The Riyadh Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development said disputes over wages, service benefits, allowances, compensation for occupational injuries and dismissals had been before the conciliation department for two months. In line with the objectives of the Vision 2030 plan, the entire process of resolving labor disputes is being conducted online through the portal of the Ministry of Manpower and Social Development. The Vision 2030 plan calls for the digitization of all services provided by government departments.
