FOREIGN PILGRIMS WILL ARRIVE FROM SUNDAY; ISOLATION FOR THREE DAYS IN HOTELS

 

Mecca: The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has made it mandatory for Umrah pilgrims arriving from foreign countries to be isolated in hotels for three days. The conditions applicable to pilgrims, Umrah service companies and foreign agents have been announced.
Saudi Arabia will start accepting foreign pilgrims from next Sunday. After a gap of seven months, foreigners have the opportunity to perform Umrah.

Foreigners between the ages of 18 and 50 are allowed to perform Umrah. Pilgrims are required to submit a PCR test report proving that they are corona virus free. Samples for PCR testing must be collected within 72 hours of departure for Saudi Arabia.
According to the provisions of the 'Itamarna' app, the time for performing Umrah, attending Haram prayers, performing Masjidunnabavi Ziarat and performing prayers at Rawda Sharif must be booked in advance. A confirmed return ticket is mandatory for pilgrims as per the approved package. 
The package must include three days' accommodation, including isolation, including three meals a day, air travel from the airport to the residence, comprehensive insurance, transportation from the residence to the harem and miqat, and a guide for each group.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has said that maintaining health care is one of the highest priorities in Saudi Arabia. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah will work in coordination with the concerned departments to provide safe conditions for the pilgrims. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said it had coordinated with Saudi Arabia, the national carrier, to provide the required seats to foreign pilgrims in accordance with the approved plan, which takes precautionary measures and health protocols.
