In response to a question, Javasat said that the current requirement for entry into Saudi Arabia is to have a work visa, as well as a negative certificate of corona test conducted within 72 hours before entering Saudi Arabia.
Saudi embassy sources had hinted last month about the resumption of visa stamping in some countries, including the Philippines.
At the same time, there are many people in India who have been issued new visas and whose maximum period of entry into Saudi Arabia has expired.
It is clear from Javasat's reply that entry to Saudi Arabia will be possible only if the expiration date of their new stamped visa is extended. However, no clear notification has been received from the authorities so far.
