Riyadh - Licenses were issued for 903 new industrial projects last year, according to a report by the Ministry of Industry. The Saudization projects implemented by the Ministry of Industries in collaboration with the concerned departments have created 39,404 jobs. Of these, 37 per cent were received by natives. At the same time, Industry Minister Bandar al-Khuraif said that the implementation of new technologies in the industrial sector, including artificial intelligence instead of manpower, would be at the expense of foreign workers and not Saudi workers.
