Prescription required to bring medicine to Saudi

Riyadh - Passengers bringing medicines from abroad must keep a sealed doctor's prescription to bring them into the country, Saudi Customs said. Drugs fall into the category of goods subject to import restrictions. These require a sealed prescription to enter the country. Customs officials said the drugs would only be allowed to enter the country if the prescriptions were presented to a representative of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority at the customs section of border posts, including airports.
