Permission to enter the country through borders will be granted from 11 a.m. today (Sunday, January 3).
The Ministry of Home Affairs has set certain conditions for entry into the country in the wake of the new genetically modified corona spread.
1. Travelers from countries with new genetically modified viruses, including South Africa and the United Kingdom, must not have visited the country within 14 days of entering Saudi Arabia. Must have undergone PCR test after staying outside the country for 14 days.
2. After entering Saudi Arabia from the countries where the genetically modified virus is spread, one should stay in the home quarantine for 14 days. They must have undergone a PCR test within 48 hours of entering Saudi Arabia and on the 13th day before the end of the quarantine.
3. Those entering Saudi Arabia from other countries where the genetically modified virus has been detected must stay in the home quarantine for 7 days. The PCR test should be performed on the sixth day.
4. Those from other countries must comply with existing quarantine conditions. 3 days or 7 days of which is the home quarantine condition.
