Insurance coverage is not available in 12 circumstances

The Compulsory Unified Insurance Policy states that insurance companies are not liable to pay compensation in 12 situations related to motor vehicle accidents.
Insurance companies are not liable for damages in the event of incorrect information in the insurance policy forum, concealment of vital information, intentional accident, or accident while driving in the opposite direction.

Companies are not liable to pay compensation in the event of failure to notify the company within 20 days of the change in the key information provided in the insurance application form, an accident while driving under the influence of drugs, or an accident while driving under the age of 18.

Companies are not liable to pay compensation under the insurance policy in the event of driving without a license depending on the type of vehicle, expiration of the license period at the time of the accident, and carrying more than the prescribed number of passengers and resulting in an accident. In case the vehicle is stolen or hijacked, the concerned departments will not be informed about the same and even if the vehicle is later involved in an accident, no compensation will be paid as per the policy.

In such cases it is mandatory for the insurance companies to notify the insured within 20 days of receipt of the claim. In such cases, the compulsory unified insurance policy states that insurance companies have the right to take steps to recover the claim within one year of the settlement of the claim.
