International flight ban until May 17:saudi ministry of intirior

The date was published by the Saudi Gazette in a previous circular issued by the Interior Ministry

Riyadh: The international ban imposed by the Saudi Interior Ministry will last until May 17, according to a report. The news was published by the Saudi Gazette based on an earlier Interior Ministry report. The Saudi Gazette reports that the ban on international flights will be lifted from May 17.

On January 29, the Home Ministry issued a circular in this regard. Earlier on March 31, it was announced that the ban would be lifted completely. However, due to unavailability of vaccine supply, it was postponed to May 17. Meanwhile, in the first week of February, the list of banned countries was expanded to include more countries and the entry ban was extended indefinitely.

Many expatriates were distressed by this unexpected ban. Many have been stranded in Dubai and many have returned. The Saudi Gazette reported the date in the first circular of the Interior Ministry amid questions about the start of air services.
