Jeddah: Saudi Muroor has reminded motorists of nine things they must follow to ensure safe travel.
Drive at the allotted speed, take the time required to avoid speeding and changing roads, maintain a safe distance, focus on driving and avoid distraction from the road.
The 9 things are to operate the signals when the tracks and directions change, to give priority to the first entrants on the road, to drive very carefully in harsh weather, to use the seat belt regularly, and to use the warning lights for sudden changes on the road.
Murur said compliance with these would help increase traffic safety and reduce the rate of accidents.
