 The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has stated that the sponsorship of the dependent visa holder whose Iqama expires can be transferred online to private companies. The levy will be calculated from the date of change of sponsorship, the ministry said. The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development said in response to a request from a foreigner that his iqama period on a dependent visa in Saudi Arabia had expired and that his application for a change of sponsorship had been accepted and that the dependent levy had been paid accordingly and that the levy for a work permit should be calculated from the date of expiration of the iqama period.
