Directors of the Ministry of Human Resource Development have been instructed to check the CCTV footage of businesses to ensure that they are compliant with Saudi nationalization.
This will be a setback for the institutions that are going ahead with Saudiization only on paper.
Officers can check the CCTV record if they try to escape from the inspectors by saying that the Saudi employee had temporarily left the shop by the time the inspectors arrived.
In any case, if the inspector is not allowed to inspect the CCTV footage, the officer has the right to evaluate the findings of the inspection and record the violation.
