Saudi Supreme Court calls for monitoring Ramadan

The Saudi Supreme Court has asked believers across the country to observe the start of this month's Ramadan.

The call to observe the new moon is on the evening of Sunday, April 11, the end of Sha'ban 29.

Those who have seen menstruation with the naked eye or binoculars should inform the nearest court.

The apex court said in a statement that this was part of the Prophet's practice and that all possible believers should observe the new moon as part of good deeds.
