Saudi Arabia urges foreigners arriving on visitor visas to take out a health insurance policy with Kovid treatment coverage. The Saudi Central Bank and the Council for Cooperative Health Insurance have announced that the new rules will apply to those on tourism, visit and Umrah visas. This is in order to provide medical facilities in case of Kovid infection after arrival in Saudi Arabia and to ensure the safety of those in Saudi Arabia.
This insurance policy should cover Kovid treatment, quarantine expenses and hospitalization in case of emergencies.
