In Saudi Arabia, driving licenses are currently only issued to boys over the age of 17. Girls under the age of 18 were also allowed. The new decision will allow both parties to be licensed at the same age. For this, girls above the age of 17 have to apply to the driving school for a license along with six photos and a medical certificate. They will be issued a one-year driving license.

License will be renewed for a longer period after completion of 8 years. Licenses will not be issued to those with physical difficulties. All types of traffic laws apply to licenses obtained under the age of 17. Driving licenses are issued to those who pass a theory test and a driving test at a driving school.
