The Ministry of Home Affairs has announced significant changes in immunization safety standards as corona vaccination has reached its peak in the country and the number of corona cases has dropped sharply.

The new changes, which will take effect on Sunday, the 17th of this month, are described below by sources close to the Saudi Interior Ministry.

Wearing a mask in open areas is not mandatory. However, this exemption does not apply to certain areas. At the same time it is mandatory to continue wearing the mask in closed areas.

Exemptions were granted as follows in the precautionary instructions for those who received two doses of the vaccine

The full potential of the Masjid al-Haram can be used. Employees and visitors should wear masks all the time in the entire corridors of the mosque.

No more social distractions in public places, public gatherings, transportation systems, restaurants and theaters. And can be used at full capacity.

Limiting the number of people in the events and auditoriums of the institutions was avoided.

Those who have taken two doses of the vaccine and those who have been exempted from taking the vaccine can access the activities mentioned above. At the same time, precautions should be taken including wearing a mask.

Social distance and wearing of masks should continue in areas where status verification has not been applied through the Tawakkalna app.Immune status checks and wearing of masks are still required to enter institutions.
