Traffic violations: Saudis are not barred from traveling abroad
The Javasat Directorate has said that Saudis will not be barred from traveling abroad for non-payment of traffic fines. However, there is a provision that obtaining a new passport and renewing one's passport should not be left without paying traffic fines in the name of the natives.
The fee for renewing a passport for five years is 300 riyals and for ten years it is 600 riyals. Passports will be issued for a period of 10 years only to those who have completed 21 years of age. The Javasat Directorate said that those who have completed 21 years of age can obtain a new passport and renew their passport through their own account in Abshir.
