Driver LessBuses in Saudi The Test run was done.

In Saudi, there was a test run of buses without drivers. The test run was held at the King Abdullah Science and Technology University campus in Jeddah. The shuttle service is scheduled to be available from next year.

The computer-connected bus service is run on battery. The test run of the automated buses, named Olli and Z10, took place on the King Abdullah Science and Technology University campus last day. The bus operates with camera and sensor technology. The bus is made in 3D printed body. Those involved say there is no delay in building such vehicles as construction is easy. The shuttle service is planned to be used by students and teachers from next year. The project is being implemented in partnership with digital automaker Local Motors Industries, EC Mile and the Saudi Public Transport Company.
