MAKKAH AND MEDINA ARE AMONG THE 100 MOST VISITED CITIES FOR FOREIGN VISITORS.

Mecca and Medina were among the most popular cities for foreign visitors. Mecca ranked 20th out of a hundred cities, and Medina on the twenty-third among the more than 400 cities in the world. Hong Kong is the most visited city.

The report was prepared by Euro Monitor International, which studies global tourism markets. Mecca and Medina were ranked 20th and 23rd among the 100 most visited cities out of 400 cities. Mecca  is ranked first in the Arab world and Medina is second. In the last one year, the number of visitors to Mecca was 98 lakh and Medina was 88 lakh. Hong Kong is the largest city in the world with over 2.67 crore tourists. Second place is Bangkok. The number of tourist arrivals this year is 2.58 crore. London, Macao, Singapore, and Paris are the next largest cities. Dubai came in at number seven on the list with 1.6 crore visitors. Top 20 cities in India
