Saudi Police has revised parking fees at Jeddah and Riyadh airports. The parking fee was raised from three rials per hour to five rials. The parking fee is charged at the old airport in Jeddah at three riyals per hour. However, the new airline charges 10 rims per hour. The announcement of the new change comes amid widespread complaints.
Accordingly, those who pay the parking fee will get a 50 per cent discount on the machines installed at the new airfield. That means paying 5 riyals per hour instead of 10 rials per hour, Civil Aviation spokesman Ibrahim Al Rouza said. Riyadh King Khalid has hiked the International Airport and the short-term parking fee from the first day of the year to five Riyals per hour. But long-term parking fees will remain at three reals.
