Saudiization to the Bakhalas

 Saudiization to the Bakhalas

Jeddah: Abdul Salam al-Tuwaijiri, director of commercial privatization at the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources, has said that a new study is being conducted on the Saudiization of bakhalas.

Tuwaijiri pointed out that a study is underway to expedite the implementation of Saudiization with the help of other government agencies.

He added that Bakala was learning about Saudiization as part of the country's reshuffling of the retail sector and the cessation of benami business.

The Ministry of Commerce has given 180 days to benami businessmen to rectify their status. Tuwaijiri said that many private companies have expressed their willingness to provide employment to the natives.

It is certain that if Saudiization becomes mandatory in the Bakhalas, it will adversely affect many expatriates, including Malayalees.
