Jeddah - The Saudi Ports Authority has announced plans to implement Saudization of companies operating in the country's ports. The project will be implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Manpower and Social Development and the Saudi Ports Authority. Initially, Saudi Arabia aims to implement the four major companies operating in the Jeddah Islamic port.

Saudization is being carried out at Red Sea Gateway Terminal Company, Dubai Ports World Company, Samil Offshore Services Company and Mansoor Almusaad Trading and Contracting Company. It aims to Saudization 23 sectors of employment in these companies. The repatriation plan aims to Saudization more than 300 jobs in the four companies during the contract period.
