Foreign pilgrims will arrive this year for hajj; Terms announced

Saudi Arabia sets COVID-19 vaccination hajj

Protocols for the Hajj have been drawn up, indicating that this year's Hajj will allow pilgrims from foreign countries. The health conditions for the Hajj were developed by the National Transformation Program. The measures to be taken by domestic pilgrims from Saudi Arabia and pilgrims from foreign countries have been announced. In addition to the fact that both groups of pilgrims must have been vaccinated, there are some steps to be taken
There is a suggestion.

Hajj pilgrims from abroad must receive two doses of the vaccine one week before entering the country. Any vaccine approved by the World Health Organization should be taken. Carry a negative certificate stating that the corona was taken 72 hours prior to the trip. After landing here you have to stay in Quarantine for 72 hours. There are other things to keep in mind, such as having to take the Kovid test again.

However, domestic pilgrims should receive two doses of the Kovid vaccine before Dul Hajj, and those arriving for Hajj should take the Saudi - approved vaccine at least a week before starting work, officials said. In addition, it is planned to vaccinate 60 per cent of the residents of the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah before the birth of Dhul Hijjah. Permission for Hajj will be given to those between 18 and 60 years of age. Hajj and Hajj servants are required to wear a mask at all times. Measures will be taken to maintain distance between pilgrims, avoid congestion and divide into groups of 100 people.

The Hajj was held in the Kovid background last year with about a thousand pilgrims. No one from foreign countries was allowed. Officials have not yet officially announced the participation of foreign pilgrims this year. Given the current precautionary measures, it is expected that pilgrims from abroad will be allowed in, albeit limited this year.
